A.T. Oasis Coffee & Tea Shop was founded in 2013 by owner Aisha Tedros and her husband Abdul. Aisha, originally from Eritrea, just north of Ethiopia, envisioned a neighborhood gathering place where people could experience both the rich flavors and beautiful traditions of Ethiopian coffee.
Aisha always dreamed of owning her own coffee shop, and after nine successful years in the restaurant service industry her dream became a reality. She had always been interested in the coffee industry and didn’t want to give up the opportunity to meet new people every day. A.T Oasis has allowed her to combine her love of people with her passion for coffee, all under one roof!
Attention to detail is always noticed from the exceptionally friendly customer service to the care taken with each customer’s order. Aisha personally buys all-natural green coffee beans directly from Ethiopian farmers and then roasts them in small batches right here in Phoenix, AZ. She has also brought the traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony to the valley of the sun; in fact A.T. Oasis is the only spot in Central Phoenix where you can enjoy this unique experience.
It’s not just about coffee though, the tea offered at A.T. Oasis comes from all over the world as well, including east Africa and Morocco. The shop’s signature chai showcases all-natural spices imported from Eritrea, Ethiopia and around the world. You’ll have to come in to the shop to try some of Aisha’s signature chai tea though because it is one of the few products not sold online!
These same delicious spices are used in all of the homemade food served at A.T. Oasis, from the Sambusas to full Mudamas; only fresh ingredients used, 100% of the time. For Aisha, a neighborhood coffee shop is a way she can give back to her local community. It’s why she and everyone at A.T. Oasis pours their heart and soul into each and every cup!
